Why we built this

School psychologists and ABA practitioners need to collect behavioral observation data every day. The existing options are either paper-based (slow, error-prone) or cloud-based platforms that create FERPA and HIPAA liability by storing student and client data on third-party servers.

sight·line solves this by running entirely on the practitioner's machine. No accounts, no cloud, no vendor agreements, no risk assessments. Install it and start collecting data in minutes.

sight·line is built by a school psychologist who needed better tools for the job. Every feature, from interval recording configurations to FBA report formatting, is designed from firsthand experience doing this work every day.

Privacy by design

Privacy isn't a feature we added — it's the architecture. Data never leaves your device. The only network call is license validation, which contains zero student or client data. AI features run locally using Ollama, with no internet required.
