Why this exists
Every school psych and BCBA I know collects behavioral data on paper or in apps that send student data to someone else's server. sight·line is the tool I needed and couldn't find.
The problem
You didn't get into this field to fight with spreadsheets.
But here you are — tallying on paper, re-entering into Excel after every session, formatting the same graphs by hand for every IEP, and turning raw frequency counts into narratives at 9 PM.
So a school psychologist decided to build something better.
Who's building this
sight·line is built by a school psychologist who got tired of managing spreadsheets. Crude templates, manually graphing data from multiple observations, copying numbers between files to compare sessions. Every feature in sight·line comes from doing that work and knowing exactly where the friction is.
Built with privacy in mind
Privacy isn't a feature we added. It's the architecture. By default, data stays on your device. The only network call is license validation, which contains zero student or client data. AI features can run locally using Ollama (no internet required), or you can use cloud AI if your compliance requirements allow it.
